Finally got around to producing a rating profile for this season. Basically the MN, ND, SD, IA, WI & MI teams are up to date. The rest of the states teams will be update at the end of the season. Just a reminder that this method using a least squares solution similar to the programs used by the Las Vegas betting companies as their first pass in their process to set betting lines. It simply using the raw game scores of each game and does not account for home ice advantage, player match-ups, power plays, penalty kills, etc.
Comments are welcome as always. - BTW, this year we are trying to incorporate JV games into the overall solution, doe anyone have a good (comprehensive source for the MN & WI HS JV game scores? Much appreciate any feed back on this matter.
