Northfield leads 2-0 as they are in control of a physical game so far. New Ulm will get a 5 minute PP to start the 2nd period.

New Ulm ties it up late in the period but Northfield storms down the ice right after that and scores with 1:13 left in the period and they lead heading into the final frame.

Northfield holds off a late charge by New Ulm and advances to the Consolation Championship on Saturday. New Ulm falls to (0-14-0) all time at State. The Raiders improve to (23-5-2) on the year.
