Chaska-Chanhassen is one of the juicier 1st round matchups. Crosstown rivalry. Regular season games were decided by 1 and 2 goals respectively. Chaska could make state our get bounced in this one. Should be a fun atmosphere at the Chaska Community Center.

Tonka with the better overall record and I believe a higher PageStat rating, more GF, fewer GA, went 7-3 their last 10 vs. 5-5 and also had the more recent H2H win vs. EP, but EP ends up with the #1 seed.

Not a huge deal overall in the end as both SHOULD make the section final game but imho not logical.

I am not a genius, but I am guessing if you throw out the battle against each other, EP's record in the section of 2-0 with wins against 3 &4 was better than Tonka's record of a win against 3 and 8 a loss against 4 and a tie against 6

You can't toss out the H2H so if your numbers are correct than it's 3-1 in sections vs. 3-2-1 with better overall numbers going to Tonka including more recent play.

LIke I said no big deal but imho there's no logical argument for EP getting the 1.

Probably the best 3/6 game among all the AA sections.
