I watched parts of the game and it was pretty wild. Big swings in momentum throughout. Providence can really score, but plays almost no defense.

Will Brown was the best player on the ice. I expected Delano to be slightly down this year, and here they come roaring out of the gate instead of their usual slow start.

Good game. Andover’s depth up front seemed to be the difference. The Strand kid for Roseau pretty impressive.

EGF suffers with mediocre goaltending. And, w/o Ausmus, they will have a pretty tough go of it this year.

It also appeared to me that Andover scored a goal that was waved off. I will say the ref was in good position when he waved it. Fun game to watch.

STA over CDH 4-3. STA forecheck forced many turnovers by the CDH dmen. Mike Randolphs finger prints were all over this one.

Totally agree. Cretin lucky to get out of the first period still in the game. Shots were like 14-2. Cretin had a much better 2nd period but two turnovers down low in the third ended up in the back of the net.

STA goalie made some huge saves late as well.

They definitely aren't your classic EGF team. Didn't seem to be as physical, as past iterations. They're still relatively young, and I'm sure they'll straighten out their defense...something Oliver will see to. But I do agree, they'll only go as far as their goalie will take them.

How do you calling tripping and embellishment on the same play? The guy was either tripped or he embellished. Chicken poop call by officials!!
