Anyone in the know out there how the kid from Eden Prairie and White Bear were able to join their high school teams twenty plus days after the season started?

And in one case the "returning player" was still in mom and dad's house the whole time.
Unless, of course, there are none or close to no students physically on campus due to distance/hybrid learning. The pandemic certainly voids that requirement.HockeyCrazy1970 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 12:06 am As I mentioned in a previous post...
An athletic director from a major Program Told me directly this summer That student-athletes In order to maintain their eligibility must be physically present in their respective School District once every 15 days.
I understand. It is the "physical" element that can't be determined by a school district during distance learning modalities. The only indicator would be present for online attendance. This made it much easier for a student-athlete from MN who was playing in say, Chicago, to still be "present". Unless they are actively asking them to prove their physical presence, which I doubt is happening.HockeyCrazy1970 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 9:51 am I/he said "in the respective school district" not "on campus." Again... This communication took place Mid pandemic.
Out of curiosity, why does anyone care (especially in today's world environment)?HockeyCrazy1970 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 9:51 am I/he said "in the respective school district" not "on campus." Again... This communication took place Mid pandemic.
Seems like the haters of a certain SW Metro team/coach might be inclined to raise the BS flag for a returning junior player (just like the angst they had for a senior goalie who showed up this year) and other seemingly annual irregularities.InThePipes wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 10:10 amOut of curiosity, why does anyone care (especially in today's world environment)?HockeyCrazy1970 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 9:51 am I/he said "in the respective school district" not "on campus." I don't think people raising the BS flag bothers them much.HockeyCrazy1970 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 9:35 pmSeems like the haters of a certain SW Metro team/coach might be inclined to raise the BS flag for a returning junior player (just like the angst they had for a senior goalie who showed up this year) and other seemingly annual irregularities.InThePipes wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 10:10 amOut of curiosity, why does anyone care (especially in today's world environment)?HockeyCrazy1970 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 9:51 am I/he said "in the respective school district" not "on campus."
