I'd venture to guess he is leaving. That league doesn't draft HS eligible kids that high unless they get confirmation that he would leave.

If Massachusetts remains shut down it will be hard for that league to operate.

"O-town"... Personally, I agree with you that I find it difficult to believe that many of the Junior teams will be able to operate without the ability to have unlimited attendance each night. In case you haven't seen it, I posted in a different thread that a third-hand source that I trust indicated the NAHL had an emergency owners meeting last Monday and, although Frankenfeld (the commissioner) was adamant they would have a full season, apparently, the two Alaska teams and all of the Southern Division teams had indicated they were all likely to be taking the season off. Either due to limitations on number of fans allowed in the buildings or, the municipally owned buildings actually being closed due to Covid.

Not entirely true - maybe the South might - but Fairbanks announced it will play in Marshall, MN until January 21st - with the hopes of going back to Fairbanks. Kenai River is doing the same - they are going to set up their team in Minnesota until at least Jan 1. Both could extend and stay in MN for duration of season.

And as I said in a different thread , there will be hockey this season , just a question of which leagues , who is sanctioning , and who ends up where . But I’m pretty sure there won’t be a 100,000 spectator Trny at the X in March
