Hermantown is so much faster than HM. Pioneers will have to make some major adjustments to claw back into this game. It’s too bad they are missing two excellent players, but I don’t think it would have changed things that much.

That may well be the case. Video feeds can be deceiving. Good puck movement can make a team look faster than they actually are. It just seems like HT is flying around the rink and putting tons of pressure on the Pioneers.

PS. I don’t worry about my purple beating Hermantown. It’s an exhibition game with an all-star team compromised with elite players from across the 218 landscape. The game does not matter in the big picture.

GR with a solid 4-1 win over Wayzata. Rapids was very good in all phases of the game today. D did a great job of limiting Wayzata's chancesand moving the puck up and out of their own end. Forwards were very good as well and had some very good rushes that resulted in goals and other great chances.

For me, it was the most complete game I have watched them play this year. Nicely done T Hawks.

Nice time of year to be putting it together

Seem to be a very even keeled team. They don't panic much no matter the situation. Very poised for a young team in my opinion.
