Galatz a bright spot for the lumberjacks. Rapids good at limiting his chances and working the forecheck. GR in control most of the game. Refs with a quick whistle during a cloquet pp with the goalie pulled, they thought it was icing, GR scored but didn't count.

I thought the refs let quite a bit of stuff go during the game. Lots of stick work by the Jacks that could have been called.

Did anyone see the Roseau EGF game or have any kind of a report on it?

Burnsville 4 Blake 2. #18 on BV was very solid tonight as was their goalie.

Monticello struggled to get the puck in the back of the net, but pulled out a 2-1 win, shot 50 Monti, 24 Princeton.

I was down at Gary Harker watching Blake get fortitude by the TFKA Braves. Big arched wooden ceiling, home team sporting a Cooperall look, band rockin', and Burnsville's actually good. What is this? 1988?

Blake pressured and had some great chances late. It was like a force field was around the goal. Mild upset probably, but if they played 7 times this wouldn't be the only Burnsville win.

Big week ahead for both teams. Blake has Hockey Day and I think Rosemount and Eagan await a trending B'ville.

Another reason the game stood out is that it's the first time in a long time I didn't see birthday boy Danny Ryan in the house.

East-Prior Lake started out as a slopfest but turned into one of the more entertaining games I've seen this season. The Hounds got to their game midway through the second and looked like they might put it away, but PL was able to punch back and tie it twice. PL had the lion's share of the chances in OT but couldn't finish it off. Two teams that ultimately looked pretty even and were fit to be tied. PL's all-sophomore top line will be a ton of fun to watch if it sticks around. No Hoops back yet for East--we should see him Friday, which will certainly help boost the Greyhound offense. All in all, a fun night at Heritage.
