What I love is that each section has two teams that think they can win state this year.
So true! Great insight.
I - Lakeville N & S (although probably not as bullish after the weekend)
II - Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, maybe even Prior Lake
III - Rosemount, St. Thomas
IV - White Bear Lake, Hill-Murray, perhaps even Stillwater
V - Maple Grove, Blaine (injury and recent results may have dinged their confidence)
VI - Benilde, Blake, Cretin, Edina, Wayzata
VII - Andover, trailed by hopefuls C-E-C/GR/DE
VIII - Moorhead, St.M-A, Roseau
All of the above measured off their 3 best results seem formidable. Could be the most enjoyable season to follow in recent memory.
