HM is long overdue. However, if not HM, it will be white bear. Centennial could make it too, but if its not one of these three, look for the end of the world to be upon us...jk

With Hansen, Grun, Faust, Kleidon returning also forwards Kovacs, Roth and Hilpisch there is no team in 3AA that can beat the Bears. That is unless Zach and Tom spend quality time in the box, Grun is cleared from his roost twelve paces out front of the net, and Faust takes multiple shots on net in rapid succession (he'll always stop the first one). If these things happen often enough they are beatable.

HM is hopeful this year and will definitely show better than last year but at this early guess I say their lack of maturity and cohesive confidence will restrict their game. They'll play much better if they get an early lead.

Centennial is not tough this year. They have returning players with a lot of hockey experience, years in the sport logged for Josh Bergen, Van Gilder, Luckow, Singer, Palma, Voitlander, Kirkland etc but the crescendo is not there, the team will lack internal will and consistency. Look for two players to post some big numbers.

That's your perennial big three as I see them.

Also rans include: Roseville has their big forward horse returning but their lack of depth will bring no results, Moundsview will find their usual midlin slot with Dimke, Dahl and McMahon and new coach, Stillwater will be fun to watch again this year but will not break 500. Look for Josh Gunderson to have a great year.

There is more parity this year yet if one really looks closely at the rosters, the teams will match and finish as they always do.
