Hey, what yall think about his transfer to AV, I personally think that kid is rediculous and will play juniors and eventually division 1 hockey. I feel he brings a lot to Apple Valley. I've hear it mentioned that he had a lack luster Junior year however I kept stats and he put up very impressive numbers with a few off games. One game for example Eagan out shot Rosemount 49 shots to 26 and beggs let in 2 goals, we lost the game but he played rediculousely. This kind of instance happened multiple times, he ended up with a 91.1 save percentage and a 3.13 GAA, I'll let the AV% do the talking. Your thoughts? <p></p><i></i>

He is currently the top goalie in the Elite league. But he is listed as from Rosemont. Where is he right now? <p></p><i></i>

He's in Apple Valley and yes he's eligible. <p></p><i></i>

Beggs is a good kid and has good parents. He has done nothing wrong up to this point and should be left alone on this site. Some of the coments on this site are very insulting and undeserving even if you had good intensions. No parent or teenager should be put threw the ringer as he has been.I would not wish this on anyone. Please just sit back and watch the game. After all - it is just a game. <p></p><i></i>

Dont give me this beggs has gone through so much and he is such a good kid, he is switching schools when the program is just starting to build, thats low class in my book. <p></p><i></i>

Matt did a nice job between the pipes for the Irish. Could have been a banner year for Rosemount. Regardless of what's been said about him, he will be sorely missed for more than his goaltending ability. <p></p><i></i>

dont tell me to grow up suckerpunch and i dont think my comment was cruel at all, your obvisously connected to beggs in some way and cannot take the criticism, he may be a very nice kid i dont know him, but i do think it is very low class transfering schools like he is, everyone has been talkin about rosemount rebuilding but how are they suppose to do it with their goalie who as i hear was the leader of the team leaving for a school that has a better chance... <p></p><i></i>

Lloyd- I have known Matt for several years. It was not an easy decision. I have talked with his parents. Their reasons for moving seemed sound, and the recent news/rumor that head coach Don Micheletti has resigned only serves to validate the decision. It's not always about winning and losing. Speculate all you want, but but leave the personal slams out of here. Matt really is a great kid and deserves better. It might be time to lock this topic up. <p></p><i></i>
