Yeah, that goal near the end of the first period was a killer. TG needs to come out flying and get one of those back. They had some nice chances but couldn’t convert anything.

Mahtomedi scores about two minutes in to go up 3-0.

WBL wins 3-2 after late HM goal in 3rd.

Great game to watch and looked like a full house at Aldrich arena.

I wasn’t surprised by the Mahtomedi victory, but the margin and their total control of the game were impressive. TG didn’t generate much offense over the final two periods, and Dardis stoned what few chances they had. Mahtomedi is definitely rolling at the right time and deserving of the top seed at state.

Friday night prime time for Bear nation would be a hoot. Very energetic student section fan base deserves a taste Friday night at state. Best experience ever!! Aside fropm winning title of course.
