If BSM defeats Chaska, is that enough to jump into the #10 spot in the rankings?

Forest Lake continues their onslaught of tough competition. Good to see teams earn the seed they get. 🙄

BSM 3, Chaska 1 after 2
Benilde dominated the second and scored three unanswered goals after the first ended with the Hawks up 1-0. Things got a little chippy at the end of the period and Chaska has about 1:30 of PP to start the third.

Update:
BSM wins 6-3 (ENG)
Shots 26-22 Chaska
Benilde went up 4-1 early in the third before Chaska mounted a comeback to draw within one goal midway through the final stanza. The Knights then converted a nice two-on-one break to put things out of reach, then Lavelle added a comical own goal for the final margin. BSM looked every bit as speedy as Chaska, and played with a physical edge. They did a nice job of blocking shots and keeping things to the outside from what I saw.

I’m not sure if any of you watched the Hermantown game earlier today, but they sure looked mortal during the stretches I saw. St. Cloud has certainly been no great shakes so far this season, either. We’ll see if any of the better Class A teams can catch them on a down day like that.

I did not expect that result at all. The Hounds just seemed flat for the first 2 periods and the Spuds jumped on them early. The Hounds goalie gave up a bunch of rebounds and at least 2 of the goals were off rebounds.

Nice win for the squad in Braemar. They have the ability to beat the top dogs, but probably not 3 in a row.

Agree Pioneers a huge win . Very physical game . Keopple No 1 Star as Hornets with big Sog advantage . Very Impressed with Nick Mountain speed . Nick Pierre out with broken wrist, , will he be back this season? Great to see Sats and Lechs trading stories on the Pio bench before the puck drop.

Coaches messing with the lines that were clicking and playing well, made lines 3 and 4 basically worthless by switching them up.

Saw the HM-Edina game Friday at Aldrich but not Saturday
At Braemar. Koepple kept Hill in the game Friday in the when Edina was in control for most of the game. Koepple must have been great Saturday. First time I’ve seen Edina this year. Was impressed with their D-men.

Didn't realize it til I read in the sports page today - Hounds got their 1st shot on goal with about 5 min left in 1st period. By then Taters had 14 shots & 2 goals.

Gonna be interesting to see if they can extend the same courtesy to the Sheep on Tue.
