When will Minnetonka's first loss come?

Looking at the schedule, they don't have a single easy win the rest of the season except Hopkins and maybe Prior Lake.
It will be very tough for them to wrap up the regular season undefeated, but where does the first loss take place?

I think Eden Prarie or Andover is the best bet. EP has been playing well, and the game is in EP so that helps the Eagles a bit. HDM will be a battle of the goalies. Glockner vs Fritsinger will be one of the best goalie matchups we see all season, if not the past few/next few years. Those will be two great games in general, and 2 that can very easily result in Tonka loses. on the other hand, everything besides EP playing at home also goes for the Skippers. Glockner is a beast, and the team overall is playing well.
DE and Htown are also on the road, and DE may be playing for vengeance from last years state championship.
If they can weather all of those games, the next game I see them losing, and would seriously place money down is their game against Edina on Feb 9th in Edina. Big rivalry game with already having played once in Tonka, and their perfect season within reach, they just might overlook the Hornets and get picked off.

It's worth mentioning that Tonka hasn't lost in the past two seasons with D Josh Luedtke in the lineup. The two games that Tonka lost in January 2018 (DE, @Edina) happened when Luedtke was injured.
On a side note, the article below about Denver University's 2019 recruiting class identifies Luedtke as a forward. He certainly has the skills of a forward but does anyone know if he was recruited as a forward or if he will continue to play defense in college? IMO, Luedtke is Tonka's best offensive weapon.

218’s best. Hermantown and Duluth East

At DE, Andover on HD-MN, at Edina, at home vs Edina, at EP, at Wayzata are most likely the toughest regular season games remaining on Tonka’s schedule

Looks like he is predicting Hermantown and Duluth East as Minnetonka's first loss. If he is actually predicting them both to beat Minnetonka, then Duluth East would actually be Minnetonka's first loss.

I am going to guess one of the conference teams will beat them. But only one, probably Edina.

As good as their defense is if they keep taking as many penalties as they have it will eventually come back to bite them and if it does hopefully before sections start.

Probably against Chaska in the Section finals. How's that for going out on a limb?

Questions is, who will hold Tonka to 2 goals or less and then be able to put 3 or more on the board?
Minnetonka is not a high scoring team but they are very skilled when they need to be as last 2 goals against BSM showed. The challenge is scoring on them which requires enough quality shots and from what I've seen so far has been difficult for most teams. Some teams have played them close this year but a close score and a close game are two different things.

Like 2012, an unranked team from 1AA will take out the top team....
I wish I was in the land of Cotten
Old times, they are not forgotten
Look Away, Look Away, Look Away Dixie Land
In Dixieland where I was born in
Early one frosty morning
Look Away, look Away, look Away, Dixie Land
I wish I was Dixie, Hooray, Hooray!
In Dixieland I will take my stand!
To live and die in Dixie!
Away, Away, Away down South in Dixie
Away, Away, Away down South in Dixie.....
We shall rise again!

I wish Tonka would have gotten the Chaska team of late in the regular season rather than the one a week back. Not that they were an easy out but Chaska seems to finally playing like the team most of us expected them to be. Hopefully if they meet in sections Goldsworthy will have them well prepped and ensure Chaska is not overlooked because of the previous result.
The 7 game stretch Tonka has starting tonight is about as tough as it gets and only 2 of their total 12 remaining games should realistically be viewed as an easy out.

OK, Chaska “might” make the section final, but what have they done this season that honestly makes you think they can beat Tonka in a huge pressure game? PS 1 win over Edina does not make a season when you’ve lost to the likes of Sartell & Eveleth, unless it’s the 1950’s

If East stays out of the box they will win today.
They are due for a ‘get down to business’ victory.

I saw it in a dream. Chaska’s Mr Hockey wills them to victory and on to the State where they defeat Andover in the championship game. BTW Andover had to get by a resurgent Elk River team in the section finals to get to The X.

It is shaping up well for a Hastings 2-1 win in St. Paul.
