I went to Minnetonka HS at the same time as Dave Jecha. Never knew he was a transfer from Edina:

Those years Tonka finally could be found on a hockey map - although Lupovitch was the first to show the program didn't have to be a bottom feeder in his only season before Erickson joined. I also didn't realize Dave was an Edina transfer.
That 4 OT loss to BJHS despite completely out-shooting them from start to finish combined with 4 really bad goals given up was a crusher. Then losing to a barely .500 Richfield team with (future NHLer) Damien Rhodes playing out of his mind in the section final the next year and the Skippers were onto 3 decades of Vikings like losses.

Coincidentally I was just made aware of this site today and found a box score for this game. SOG 50 - 27 and BJ scored on their first shot of the 4th OT from I believe outside the blueline.

Credit to Jefferson goalie Tom Moran in that game. Here's video of the game-winning goal in the 4th OT:

Jefferson should have been docked two goals for wearing those god awful ugly Cooper XL7 helmets.
