On TV it looked like there are a lot of empty seats at the X today. Is this accurate?

Im sure: there is a difference between paid attendance and actual attendance.

My two seats are empty, paid for so counted as "attendance", but unused for today.

I figured today's games might be blowouts so decided to save the vacation day. I will be there Friday and Saturday though. It seems pretty common in my area over the years for there to be quite a few empty seats Thursday afternoon, less Thursday evening, very few empty seats Friday evening. Saturday is really dependent on who is playing......Grand Rapids, Eden Prairie, and Lakeville North all drew very well the past four years (one was the year the crowd turned on North and actually became pro Edina). 2012 and 2013 there plenty of good seats available though.

If the top 4 all move on I would expect attendance to be pretty high tomorrow. I think the fact that they are all pretty heavy favorites for the games today effected people coming in the quarter-finals

Crowd looks pretty good to me. It took some time to fill in.

Thursday afternoon is always pretty open in the bottom bowl. Was hoping for a better crowd in the evening then showed.

Friday has definitely become the day.

The only thing that disappoints me is the number of fans that don’t stay for the game that their team isn’t playing in. I feel like everyone leaves now days.

Many of those tickets, especially in the lower bowl, are double sold and you have to leave. (At least those seats)

It' unfortunate for sure. The microwave society mentality.

Seats are not "double sold". Fake news!

Since there are always empty seats in the lower bowl, I'm curious with what happens to those tickets - whether people stay for just one game, ticket scalpers unable to unload their inventory, or a combination of both.

And I am sure there are some with season tickets who dont go to every session and just let those tickets go to waste.

I mean if it were me, Id try to find someone to use them, but Im sure for some, they dont wont to go thru the trouble of craigslist or stubhub.
