Let's get another one started.

In 1975 the State High School League made several landmark changes to the playoff structure, including a major realignment and eligibility for non-public schools. Prior to 1975, the runners-up in Regions 7 and 8 had a second chance to make the tournament through Region 3. In 1992, another major realignment occurred coinciding with the shift to a two class tournament. The section champion information includes Tier I for the years 1992-1993 and Class AA for the years 1994-present.

Add to this..Make it grow.

Also, 12 minute periods in the 70's, no checking in the offensive zone. Not sure when these were changed.

I remember seeing high school goalies without masks! Yikes!!!
How about the addition of mouth guards. Had lots of toothless grins long ago.

Then came the facemasks, which did not have chin cups at the beginning, so many oldtimers will have scarred chins as souvenirs.

Remember a stick labeled Neutral??

I believe full ice checking was implemented at the begining of the 69-70 season. A good portion of players used an external mouth guard. that attached to their helmet straps, I guess concussions were not an issue.
