Hentges (Totino-Grace) is from New Brighton and played Irondale Youth Hockey growing up. He's the first (male) player in a long time to go D1 from that area. Christian Graham (Hill-Murray) and John Tharaldson (Irondale) were the last couple before him. Scott Bjugstad was the most famous. There could be a couple more coming up in a few years currently playing on a pretty talented MVI Bantam AA team.

Is this the tournament over the holidays? Also I think David Graham went D1?

Sam played really well during the Great 8 this spring. That exposure really helps.
