Anyone been to or going to an Andover or Forest Lake game? After Cloquet's hot start I'm curious if either of these two will be competitive this year.

Heartbreak hotel for the Tigers. May gets team over Braemar jinx in locker room , and they put up 9 unanswered shots but no goals. Only to have Hornets score 2 quick ones on only 2 shots in 2nd

5 to 0 after 2, sogs 21 to 14. There are more Tiger fans at Braemar than Hornet fans. Giles is playing lots of underclassmen minutes incl freshman jungles and JV sophomore Dman Theis

Was this one a bit of a snoozer? SOG after 2 were really low. So maybe top 12-15 team? It'll be ok DJ don't go jumping in Lake Pokegama.

TRF over Roseau 6-3 in the FSN game. The Rams' goalie, Landman, did a good job of keeping things close before the floodgates opened. Lots of penalties, but it was plenty entertaining. TRF has a solid defense and a sniper in Ethan Johnson, and should be one of the better Class A teams out there. Reported attendance of about 2,500 at the Little Ralph.

Course the Rams are without Helgeson who they traded to Pioneers in xchnge for a future draft pick

The Rapids/Bemidji was anything but a snoozer. Great backchecking and good goaltending. Neither team gave much room in the neutral zone. Lots of shots deflected and blocked. Rapids took too many penalties. The first line for Rapids really misses Bischoff. They are not the dominating line they could be if he were on it.

Greenway 8, Eveleth-Gilbert 1, final.

Their top returning scorer, Stoskopf, is also out for some time due to an Elite League injury. Get him healthy and shore up the D some, and the Rams could at least be a tough out in 8AA.

Was anyone at the Edina/Farmington game last night? Why was it so lopsided? 7-0 seems a bit much... Farmington was supposed to have a pretty good team.

The Edina side was packed (including student section). What game were you at?

Sorry, I meant was anyone on this Post at the game and could explain why the score was so lopsided between what most people felt was 2 fairly even teams? I did not go...

Green and White, see my earlier posts in terms of how the game unfolded. In addition, Farm varsity goalies are a 9th and 10th grader so they are going to need some time to mature, and Braemar arena is not the best place for that. Old shad, I sat on Edina side for period One, and Farmington side behind the bench for period 2 so I had a good look at the crowd from both angles. I would say Farmington had as many people there as Edina. And early in the third period, many of the Dina people started filtering out, and the Farmington crowd remained to the end

Hoping against hope that they could break the shutout? Was DeGrood in nets the whole game for Edina?
