My guess at section
Andover
Elk river
Forest lake
Rapids
St Francis ?
Duluth?
CEC
Cambridge
Debatable between duluth and st Fran. Duluth stud left for single A glory in proctor...st Fran seemed to be somewhat up and coming.

Forest Lake has Remington in goal. Vantassel/ Nolen/Kolbow up fnt. should be able to hold their own in 7AA.

I don't disagree OG, just know that both elk and and are stacked again this yr. They both didn't lose a ton of kids. It'll be interesting to see

First I'd have to remember who's in 7AA. Or any section for that matter.

Starting in two years, Andover and Forest Lake are going to have some epic battles for the right to go to state. Those youth programs are absolutely loaded at the U10/U12/U14 levels.

Forest lake should not be taken lightly this year or for the next 7-8.
The Irglunds from Roseau have moved in.
They are also set in goal for the next 4 years.
The 12's were state champs most of those girls will be playing u-15
The 10's won their district at both A and B.

Wow! All this info is great. It will give me a good ideah of things when the girls begin captains practice in a month. CEC girls face an uphill climb. But I'm a huge fan no matter

Any FL or ER commitments out there? It's been a quiet summer.

7AA on the uptick no doubt...
Elks are deepest and most skilled overall team, goaltending questions
Andover is defending champ but lacks depth at D especially, no surprising anyone either
Flake is good but not deep and no better than their 7-1 loss to ER to end last year
Rapids is balanced and has the 2nd best depth, 2nd best goalie, but many players will have to step up their output
Duluth, Cloquet, St Francis could all be considered close, with St Francis taking a bigger hit than others... Cloquet and Duluth still enough talent to upset a top 4 team

"Cloquet and Duluth still enough talent to upset a top 4 team? Boys yes girls no. Duluth girls lost two more top players to Hermantown and we are weaker than least year. We missed an opportunity to go A due to some egos. We will compete with duluth for the toilet bowl. New coaches for both teams. Should be a hoot.

Duluth will still have upset potential as they did last year beating the Elks late and PH, the twin ports cherry-pickers, lost last year because Hibbing did what Hibbing does and the PH goalie tanked...

Its all relative, adding the 6th leading scorer off of an o.k. Roseau team doesn't overcome a deep, fast, still improving Elks team... Rangers will be better, make no doubt, so will others

This deserved repeating.
"Cherry-picking" means what exactly?

FYI Goaline, Proctor Hermantown is single A. They didn't lose to Duluth last year in their annual two game series, and I think most goalies, including my daughter who you referred to, would take umbrage with being blamed for a loss when you stop 22 of 24 and lose 2-1 against a good Hibbing team. Just saying... and to echo NTMH, what does cherry picking mean exactly? Referring to families moving into town or girls open enrolling in 9th grade? You seem a bit bitter!

Should be fun year. I like the Ranger netminder. Could be the the key.
