Elk River of course. NO ONE wants to see that big elk with smoke commin out of his nose skating at them. That'll give kids nightmares. <p></p><i></i>

This is a once a year topic, so we might as well get it going again. My favorites are Edina's green ones, Holy Angels' new gold ones, and of course, the best of the best are the Jaguars in baby blue. Rumor has it that they're thinking of going to royal blue; what a pity that would be. Third jersey maybe, but give up the baby blue? <p></p><i></i>

I love Rapids new home (gophers style) and away (st.cloud huskies style, hmm, Coach LaRaoque played for the Huskies). They're good for Black uniforms, though I wish they went with orange jerseys same style as their home ones. As for other teams I like Elk River Home, Warroad Away, BSM h & a, and Anoka Home, Roseau Away. <p></p><i></i>

Petey--Did AHA get some jerseys besides those awful gold ones they have worn at state the past couple years. I was gonna vote those as a tie with SSP and Cloquet as ugliest jerseys.<br><br>I must say I like the Jefferson baby blue, as well as the Hastings Gold and Blue. Greenways green is an awesome color with a classic jersey. <p></p><i></i>

i agree we do look good in those baby blues, but lindquist might change to royal blue and put a different logo on them , i guess we'll just have to wait and see...... <p></p><i></i>

Jefferson's jerseys are classic, it'd be a shame to change them. Edina's are nice, too. I liked East Grand Forks' green and red jerseys when they were in the tourney a few years ago. Warroad's black and gold unis look sharp. I believe it's Armstrong that has blue and red jerseys that look like the Rangers uniforms, those are good ones. I also like Roseville's black uniforms, though the white jerseys are kind of boring. <br><br>I always liked Grand Rapids orange jerseys with the black breezers from the '70s, the new GR jerseys don't do much for me. And I'll make my annual case for Bemidji's early 70s jerseys, they were baby blue like Jefferson's but with bright red trim, very sharp looking (and if anyone can hook me up with one of those jerseys, though I'm sure the chances are slim to none, I'd be forever indebted).<br><br>Ugliest uniforms? I just saw a clip of Hill Murray in 1983 wearing those godawful pants instead of breezers. <p></p><i></i>

I like the Away jerseys for Duluth East and away for Cloquet. Edina jerseys are ugly, and the baby blue for Jefferson are also ugly. Moorhead also has a nice away jersey. Does anyone know if you can buy high school jerseys anywhere? <p></p><i></i>

although cloquet jerseys may be ugly, you have to take into consideration tradition. Can anyone remember a time when cloquet did not have those jerseys? other then that i like the old rapids jersey the 70's with black breezers and orange jersey, very nice. <p></p><i></i>

Just wanted to clarify that I didn't find Hill Murray's uniforms in particular ugly, just those pants, which I think a number of teams wore in the early 80s. Let's hope that's a style that never comes back.<br><br>I actually like Cloquet's uniforms with the lumberjack head. I have not seen Grand Rapids brand new uniforms, but I did see them against Jefferson last year and they couldn't hold a candle to those old '70s unis. <p></p><i></i>

My favorite has always been the Roseau away jerseys from around '71, green with just Rams across the front, triple white striping and the cool tie string on the front at the neckline and those funky green shiny specked helmets with the R on the side and number on the back and shiny green breezers. I also liked the Warrior jerseys that were Boston Bruin style with the full Blackhawk-Sioux type indian head. Those god awful pants of the early 80's were Cooperalls...yuk. <p></p><i></i>

I am partial to the Lumberjacks. I grew up watching the guys play with those lumberjacks heads on their Jersey's and I wouldn't have it any other way. The home jersey's are definitely my favorite though. <p></p><i></i>

Just to clarify, AHA's "gold" jersy's were more than likely a one-time thing and they only wore them once in the third place game at state. I do not think we will see them this year....<br>My personal favorite is anyone with the "Fighting Saints" design. apple valley got new ones. i didnt get to see them last night against east but i heard they were pretty sweet. old english letters "eagles" diagonally down the front, ties, mesh under the arms, numbers on the lower left side, and the maple leafs 3rd jersey out line... any one see these last night?<br> <p></p><i></i>

seems to me that most of the teams' away jerseys are better than their home ones. that is how it is for Lake of the Woods as well. Check out their new away jerseys...they're hot! <p></p><i></i>

I do not know who started the idea that Jefferson is going to change the classic "Baby Blue" jerseys, but it is false. I spoke with the coach about it and he said they will DEFINATLY NOT be changed. <br><br>He understands that they are a trademark to the program and he never thought about changing them. <p></p><i></i>
