Now that school has started, who has transferred? Here is what I know:

1) Cory Checco---Roch JM to Lakeville South
2) Jake Sibell---Providence to Cambridge (not Mounds View).
3) Austin Checco---Roch JM to Lakeville South
4) Connor Beltz---River Lakes to St. Cloud Cathedral
5) Wyatt Thole---Providence to Mounds View
6) Michael Behl----Wadena to St. Cloud Apollo
7) Matt Foss---Northfield to Lakeville North
8) Ben Helgeson---Roseau to Hill-Murray
9) Jack Jensen---Edina to Eden Prairie

I can't believe Sibell is transferring again. Has this been news for awhile? You would imagine if he kept risking his eligibility that he would switch to more of a contender.

In this case, he's following his old coach at Providence, who's just taken the Mounds View job.

Also, I think the first move was before he was technically in high school--anyone can transfer at that point without any eligibility issues. With this one, the family has to have moved.

Or claim financial hardship.

Assuming by now we would have heard about any transfers involving prior Lake, so the whole group of underclassmen will be back for the upcoming season?

Could these two players help us Mustangs be a serious contender in the SEC. I think we already have a lot coming back.

Michael Behl transfers from Wadena to St. Cloud Apollo, and from what I hear Connor Beltz is not the smartest kid in the classroom might not even be academically eligible for the majority of the season.

Story keeps getting more interesting to Sibell. Has now decided to leave Mounds View and go back to Cambridge. Too many goalies in the mix at MV.

Is he related to the Helgeson girl who goes to Bauer Emerson? I think she played U16 for the Revolution last year.

I have no idea, I thought I saw a Helgeson on Roseau a few years ago, but I never really heard of this player. I figured if he was transferring to Hill it was worth mentioning

I am not 100% certain myself but I was told the Bauer Emerson girl is his sister.

Frost 14, cmon guy, did it ever occur to you that maybe first, that Coach Eigner's son may not be ready to play full time yet? Second, that just maybe, kids want to come to Lakeville North since they won state last year and were runner up the year before? Lastly, that just maybe Coach Eigner had 0 to do with this transfer........? I dont' think you'll believe any of these 3 possibilities........... Continue to hate....... but have a great rest of your day...... :)

We're not haters, just stating facts!!! How is it, that you feel so good about winning, when you are constantly screwing over kids in the community! News flash, no one cares or will care in years to come, that you won a state tourney! But Eigners poor kid, will always know that he was never good enough for his dads team. thats just sad. Obviously Sats81 only cares about winning, must be one of Eigners crew.

as NAHC said, has it occurred to you that Trent's son may not be ready to be the full time varsity starting goalie? If anything, it shows he operates in integrity....breath of fresh air...usually coaches at the youth and HS level are doing it to benefit their kids ONLY and doing the COMPLETE OPPOSITE...pushing the worthy starter or better player out to benefit their offspring...Trent not starting Buzz or Buzz not being the guy shows Trent is doing what is best for the PROGRAM not HIM.
If you know Eigner, the way most people do, you would know that the line of bull you just stated Sats81, is totally ignorant! He's not a breath-of-fresh-air, since he's come to LN,thats when all the recruiting started. I have personally witness this man belittle players in the main lobby at Ames, I've been in certain sporting stores, where parents from Rosemount would say good luck with him and watch your backs. This man lacks compassion, knowledge, integrity, and self worth. but, Sats81 if you want to believe your above statement go ahead, you clearly are way out in left field with this guy. You might want to watch your back, unless your on the receiving end of all his glory.
As most coaches in MN HS hockey do, he plays to win. No one is going to argue that, and I am not going to call for his head for that. As a man, I know him well, personally. I am sorry to all the above that you have stated as its quite the ignorant rant.
