Awesome! Really proud of a few of those kids I know personally. Well deserved and they should be proud of themselves. All of them.

They always had east coach coaches and talk of an east coast bias so now they finally get a Minnesota coach and now we can talk about the Minnesota bias. Minnesota players are better.

I believe she claimed political persecution and defected to the US. Apparently she posted on Facebook her indifference towards Tim Hortons doughnuts, saying that she could "take them or leave them". I guess Canadians got miffed, there were protests and everything. Here's a picture from the riot.

Roster announced for the upcoming 2016 IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship. Once again very Minnesota-heavy, 16 of 22 by my count, 3 of whom attend SSM.
Congrats to all these young ladies and best of luck in the tourney!

USA beats Sweden 4-0 and advances to the final, which will be played tomorrow at 6:30 CST. The U.S. will play the winner of the other semifinal this evening between Canada and Russia.
In today's game all four goals were scored by Minnesota girls.

Eastview's Natalie Snodgrass scores two goals including the game winner as the USA beats Canada 3-2 in OT to take home the Gold Medal. Congratulations, especially to all of our Minnesota girls on a great tournament!
