I heard a rumor that Rooney is leaving AC Wings to attend BSM 2015-16. Can anyone else confirm?

Without his parents moving wouldn't he have to sit out a year?

I am not sure it works that way if you transfer into a private since they don't have an official district boundary unless MSHSL made a change recently?

Doesn't matter if it's public or private, you have to change residences. Doesn't have to be in that same district, just have to move.

Come on....those rules don't apply to KP. Never have...never will.

If that is truly the case, then I don't see this happening. His old man isn't moving so his kid can play at BSM.

But why would "his old man" have "his kid" transfer if he was going to have to sit out a year?

Why now? Hasn't the kid been a top player for several years? Could he not have made, and been a contributor to, the BSM varsity before now?

Doesn't matter if he was a "top player" previously. He (and his parents) still have to follow the transfer rules if he's to remain eligible next season.

I seem to recall this rumor running about last offseason, too. Do we actually have something solid to go off of this time around?

Heh. Here I am, spoiling everyone's fun. Should I start a rumor about Rapids' top line transferring to East to balance it out?

No, but, maybe a rumor about the school board trying to replace Randolph would be good. Or a Grand Rapids dropping to class A, maybe a Greenway/Virginia co-op? There are a whole bunch better rumors you could start....

A topic for a different thread but Rochester Century used to play BSM ( and Duluth East) in their non conference schedule a few years ago, this year they get Waseca..... has anyone ever fallen that far that fast?
