Oh the MSHSL phone must have been ringing off the hook!
Sections are kinda back to where they were prior to yesterday's changes.

Who monitors this on a daily basis? Seems weird to me... wouldn't worry about it till fall!

Saw it on the hockey forum and thanks for someone monitoring these things.

There was an imbalance.... close to 70 AA schools and 52 A schools, since the MSHSL policy was to include "The largest 64 schools, plus opt ups" in Class AA.
Several schools appealed their placement, and the league felt the logical thing to do was to bring some of the smaller AA schools down to A. The schools were told about a month ago that this was coming, but section placements weren't announced until now.
New Prague, Marshall, Owatonna, St. Louis Park are among those moved down from AA to A. Not sure if there were any others

Sections need to be finalized for scheduling..
BUT, this is a little crazy.
Edina and Cretin back in 6AA
Seems like 2AA,4AA,6AA,2A, and 3A are being shuffled to suite someone's desire...
maybe mshs league should take a step back and look at how inept they appear at times.
