well.....I didn't see Hermantown, but they are pretty much always good. andover has got some top end speed guys. Eagan just looked big and fast. brainerd looked slow. the hunters looked interesting...and noted that former Cloquet Lumberjack Dylan Michaud is a senior and playing defense on their varsity this winter. I like Dylan a lot!- big time skills in this kid. and CEC looked fast. Jacks won all 3 games they played. Cloquet is deep, 12 seniors this year + All-world Koby Bender doing everything on the ice we are going to be in good shape. Goaltending is young but talented I think. above average defense will help.

RESPECT. before the game today, plenty of jacks and hilltoppers talking. and post game talking amongst players. i love to see the respect factor when area school play puck against each other. well done boys =)kniven wrote:kniven wrote:im going to watch Cloquet vs. Duluth Marshall this afternoon. i will report on that afterwards....kniven wrote:

Cloquet takes care of Duluth Marshall this afternoon. Fun back and forth action.
I'd lost track of Dylan's travels and didn't realize he'd ended up back in Cloquet. Great to see, really, considering the terms on which he and his brothers first left. I'm glad he'll be able to graduate from his hometown high school instead of somewhere else, with those old grudges lingering.kniven wrote: Dylan Michaud is a senior and playing defense on their varsity this winter. Hi Karl. Actually he is at Denfeld. There was a question wether he would be able to play varsity hockey since he signed to play AAA hockey after his sophomore year in Cloquet. He played JV for Denfeld last year. I guess the powers that be are allowing him to play varsity for the Hunters this year. I am really happy for him. I talked to him on Saturday. He's a great kid.karl(east) wrote:I'd lost track of Dylan's travels and didn't realize he'd ended up back in Cloquet. Ah I see now--apparently my reading comprehension fades in summer. Anyway, look forward to seeing him in a Hunter jersey this winter.kniven wrote:Hi Karl. Actually he is at Denfeld. Nothing earth shattering to report. LVN beat up on BSM without two of the Poehlings. LVN looks strong.minnscout wrote:Anyone have the scores from Eagan today
It was June 13-15...AHA beat LN, 4-3 (SO); beat PL2, I think it was 4-2; beat STMA handily, something like 8-3; beat LS, I think it was 8-6. All teams, including AHA, were missing some guys. AHA played very well.Zamman wrote:I had heard that AHA played in Prior Lake recently. Can someone give me an update on how those games went? My job is taking me away from watching them STARS this summer.
I heard the teams were:
AHA
Prior Lake
LN
LS
Thanks
