I think LN will give Hill a closer battle than most anticipate. Edina WBL will be good as will Wayzata Holy Family.

Are any games on Saturday cancelled/postponed due to our fine governor ordering the schools to be closed on Monday? I know Moorhead has cancelled all after school activities starting tonight and going through Monday.

We are in a blizzard warning starting tonight, but not supposed to get even an inch of snow. Maybe cancelling after school activities tonight has more to do with the cold temps and wind chills.

It's ALWAYS blowing around here - it's as flat as a table top. The only thing from Billings to Bemidji to slow down the wind is 4 barb-wire fences (and 2 of 'em blew down last year) !

Holy Family 1, Wayzata 0....HFC goal a shorthanded break. Wayzata was controlling most of the period before taking a 5 minute major, though even then HFC hasn't generated a ton. LaCombe with some big saves for the Fire.

The reason for that is - if you drive east from the Red River on Hwy 10 for about 22 miles, you arrive at Hawley, which has an elevation of about 1200 feet above sea level. That's 300 feet higher than Fargo, so to ND people, that's like going up in the mountains and as a result, thay think they must be in a valley. (I think)
