About the only way he will get any playing time at Sioux Falls is if his dad plays favoritism or if Alex Kangas or John Murray get injured.

Come on guys you know there is no nepotism or a good ol' boys network in hockey. Get real....

But if you had a kid back home with mom, that got in a little trouble and was maybe too challenging for mom what would you do?

Put him on the team, ahve him show up for practive after school, work his butt off, put him on the bus and have to do homework, go to the game and have to take stats...
shorten the leash a little, keep him on the ice (maybe not the best goalie but has talent), try to get him back on the s & n.
Nepotism or not... it is father and son...
And I don't think the kid will enjoy being on the USHL ice until he grows up a little...

For those of us that were lucky, we had a dad around to help us make it from knowing everything to realizing how much our parents really did (do) know.

What about the Flyers

If there was that much trouble at home why not ship him to dad and let him play for the Sioux Falls Flyers. We all know it's not the competition of Minn HS hockey but it wouldn't REEK of nepotism. He would shine in the league and have some fun while doing it all while under dad's supervision. What grade is this kid; if he isn't a senior and he's any good at all I know a town that would welcome him and he would get the supervision he's lacking with mom.<img src=

Pots is a senior and as none of the three sophomores are really stepping up I think a room could be arranged if Kevin talked to the right guy.<img src=

He's the third goalie also known as the emergency backup, he will only dress if another goalie is hurt, or on a school vist, etc etc
