MN I think u know you are leaving out a very big match up this week! Just because LPH is a bit behind you know the Rochester Lourdes/JM vs Achiever is a BIG match up vs top teams in the State on Saturday!
Am I wrong???

No, you are not wrong. I actually considered including this game, which appears to be a very interesting match-up. But in the end there were enough games that already qualified according to the usual criteria...
I do think Achiever at #11A is very under-rated in Class A; they should definitely be in the Top 10 IMO. But Rochester Lourdes/JM is not rated at all, so I chose not to include this game.
Looking ahead, I see two Achiever games that will definitely be included when I post Week 5!

Krach ratings are close at end of year but soooooo far off this early so yes LPH can have some politics as HS coaches vote but is much better then a formula that does not have enough data yet. Jm/Lourdes played a top 20 team Roseville and was pounded 5-0 and has played no other quality teams to even sniff top 20 status. Jm/Lourdes can make a statement Monday vs wayzata. As far as achiever they are getting stiffed by upset hs coaches whom refuse to vote for them as they are no doubt a top 3 team in single A and in my opinion the top team as very good depth and balance which says a lot in single A where most teams have one good line.

Again, the really good teams don't much care what their rankings are during the season and do their talking on the ice during the playoffs. Plus, I might imagine that any team that is currently "under-ranked" would use that as motivation and work even harder as part of a "we'll show them they're wrong" attitude. I don't see a terrible amount of downside to being temporarily under-ranked. I'd be more concerned about being over-ranked where the expectations are high, but you might not have the ability to back it up.

Good points! Only decent win by Roch L/JM was over Century and Century outshot them 33-25. It will be interesting to see if they can hang at all with Wayzata tonight. It could be ugly like their earlier Roseville matchup.

Voting coaches have to go on results of games played for the most part when ranking teams. They maybe, just maybe, have personal knowledge of 2 or 3 players on any given team (mostly none, however).
So considering the following results/scores, which ones point to insisting that AA is in the top 3?
Unranked Mahtomedi 6 SLP 1 - AA 3 SLP 0 -- I guess this means that Mahtomedi should also be in the top 3 somewhere.
#14 SPU 7 Simley 1 - AA 7 Simley 1 -- Again, this means that SPU is no doubt a top 3 team? Tied with AA?
#8 Orono 10 New Prague 1 - AA 3 New Prague 0 -- Apparently this means that Orono should be ranked considerably higher than AA somewhere in the top 3.
CDH 8 NSP 1 (Reports are that the top 4 or 5 players for CDH spent the entire 3rd period on the bench and some JV players finished the game for them) - AA 2 NSP 0 -- I guess this means that Cretin should get elected Pope.
