I'll try my prediction luck!
Hermantown wins all 4 and Edina goes winless (likely will win 1 but can't allow myself to pick the cake eaters! )

I'm not qualified to make picks on this, but I would bet against Edina going 0-fer on the weekend and against Hermantown sweeping the filed.

Edina BAA got killed last night in a scrimmage by Stillwater last night. Something like 11-0. This is not their strong year.

Maybe I won't bet much then on Edina winning some games in this one. I had no idea the drop off was that severe this year.

they'll still be decent, but lost one of their big guns to Shattuck. A move in who made the team is nowhere near the same quality.
The same group (more or less) was mediocre two years ago in PWAA. For Edina, that is.
Next year's team should be very good.
Having said all that, i wonder how good this Stillwater team is?

HA! Yep, I was thinking the same thing when I started to see the scores over the weekend. Was trying to think of some excuses, but in the end, none to be had.... Guess I could blame TS as he had the Hawks rated #2 preseason! Naw, I will take the responsiblity all on my own. My career in predicting game's is over before it started! Cheers!

Anybody have final scores from all the games? Looks like there is a lot more balance this year than in the past couple years which should make for a great season overall.

Eden Prairie 5
Hermantown 4 OT
Not sure on the final, but Edina beat Duluth East. Entire 3rd period played in running time. May have been 11-1 or something like that.
