The 11:00 game on Friday features two of the more successful Class A teams over the past few years, and looks like it could be a pretty even match. Thoughts?

After watching Breck play Marshall I've got to give the advantage to Hermantown. I thought Breck looked terrible; how do you ice the puck 4 or 5 times in the first period alone against that team? Trying to complete the long highlight reel passes, selfish play.

Hermantown 3
Breck 1

In my picks for the tourney I went with Breck in this one, but I think Hermantown looked very sharp yesterday and I think this will be the game of the A tourney. I think Hermantown will beat them in a tight 4-3 game.

I got the Hawks in a 2 goal game. Maybe 3 if a EN goes down.

Cannot wait for Hermantown to take the ice against one of the two evil empire teams in single A hockey. I will be in my same spot since Wednesday watching this one. On lower level at center ice right below the television guys. Wearing my umd bulldog jacket. Cannot wait for more Plantisms.

I only saw HTown once this winter against Totino. They really moved the puck well ,have good team speed. They beat Totino 4-0 (??)
I think Breck is better than Totino but I think HTown wins. 5-3

Everyone in the building knows Breck will have a run in them. Question is how will Hermantown respond

Don't think that was going in had the defenseman not tipped it.

The "mustangs are loose". Can the hawks coral them?

Hermantowns goal off of Brecks D's skate? That would've missed wide.

Hermantown's goalie has been looking pretty shaky to me.
I prefer that the Hawks win, but I have a feeling a juicy rebound from H-town's goalie will sink them.

Even money someone scores in the first few minutes of the 2nd OT.

A very cautious OT, but there's still a lot of big hits.
