I'm sure we'll get the wink wink nudge nudge explanation soon enough. With that many kids involved I'm assuming it's something I was busted for myself.

I heard from a source that it had to do with...

EDIT

Let's not post rumors here. Please remember that these are teenagers

If it is something serious enough that authorities get involved, details will be made public.

Thank You,

OK, I'll just retract that whole statement.

Coon Rapids might have a slight chance for a win if they could play MG with half of their roster suspended........

At least 1/3 of the posts on this site are rumors about teenagers.

The original Star Tribune article has been updated and reports that the violations took place in mid-December "at a private home".

What I heard was pretty dang bad and it something you Definitely don't hear about often. Teenagers will be Teenagers there is no doubting that but it was a something that you usally don't hear about a little over the top. Unfortunate but hopefully they all learn.

CR would rather win a game with the opponents full roster. Hopefully, down the road a victory will be in sight. Thanks to the Forum Administration for shutting down all posts which are presumably rumors. The players know they acted inappropriately so let's move on

I talked with a few people close and what I heard was very, very bad.. And definitely uncommon. I wouldn't be surprised if further discipline is issued down the road.

That is all the more I will say though, and I ask (as it was noted above, but I will reiterate) please, no names or details pertaining to the situation.

Agreed what heard was uncommon and very bad but again not naming names or what exactly happened but extremely uncommon and disappointing to hear about...!

The more you people keep talking about "how bad and uncommon" it is, the more people are going to want to talk about it and know what happened..(human nature)

Not acceptable behavior, although nowhere near as salacious as you make it sound. Sorry to say, I believe it's a lot more common in high schools (both in and out of athletics) than you think. The administration handed out the punishment after surely running it by their District Office and Minnesota State High School League officials. That tells me where we are here regardless of what any haters may want to start.

Time to move on. Hope these guys learned a lesson. Got a feeling they did !!!

I hope the Maple Grove players did not do the same stupid actions that the Armstrong hockey players did last year. If so, this may be a topic of discussion for other NW suburban conference coaches may need to address with their teams.
