I know this topic has been beaten to hell, but with the moorhead roseau game comein up on tuesday who do u think is gonna come away with the W? <p></p><i></i>

Roseau will keep it close to begin with but halfway through the 2nd i look for Moorhead to pull away with it. 5-2 Moorhead <p></p><i></i>

i have been waiting for roseau to step up and this very well could be the year to win a section championship.this is going to be a very tight year. it will be fun to watch them play on tuesday and friday saturday on tv. <p></p><i></i>

Overall I still think Moorhead is the better team but I just base this on the fact that Roseau has lost a couple games this year already. I know Moorhead hasn't played anybody tough yet. Moorhead I think has the offensive firepower to win but their goaltending and defense scare me a bit. Tuesday night they gave up 4 goals on 13 shots, not very good. Kind of the same type of goaltending and defense we saw in the state championship game last year. If they can pick up their defensive play and goaltending they will be tough again this year. Should be a good matchup Tuesday night, but I give the edge to Moorhead especially on their home ice. <p></p><i></i>

Roseau can pull it off, they have a lot of work to do thow to knock Moorhead off on Tuesday. That game will be exciting. I expect a packed house in Moorhead. <p></p><i></i>

Atleast someone has a fighting chance in this section again. I'm pulling for Roseau to win 8AA this year. In way though I feel bad for Moorhead making all those trips and not winning it once. Poor Videoscout. <br><br>Have Roseau and Moorhead had good goaltening this season? <p></p><i></i>

Roseau has had pretty solid goaltending so far, nothing overlly impressive, but it is still early in the season. They have run into some pretty tough goalies thus far this season. They were only able to manage one goal on 36 shots against Totino's goaltender, and 5 goals on 53 shots against Crookstons. <p>Moorhead sets a new state tournament record!</p><i></i>

Roseau will be fired up and ready to go at the start of the game and due to that, they might just sneak in a goal or two in the first. The key is Moorhead can't get into the sin bin early, they need to stay out. Moorhead will dominate the second and third periods, and should have no problem pulling away with a "W" in this one. Roseau's about as "red ribber" as Elk River or the St. Cloud schools are "norturn". Too bad you have to travel to the Metro Area to watch two norturn teams playoff. <p></p><i></i>
