I have a picture with six Russian Squirts in the penalty box last February from a championship game in Fort Lauderdale. What's so weird about it is that there were no kids from the other team. Calls were entirely one way, and rightfully so.

The Russian Squirt team I saw last year was very good.

These players have obviously spent some time with Coach Jules Winfield. They are quite skilled in their use of the Englewood Jack

I cracked up at some of them tossing their gloves.

The girl(?) was trying to get a shot in on as many as possible.

Almost fell over laughing seeing the kid being carried off kicking the whole way.

I see why we were worried about the "soviets' pushing the button..

I like how lackadaisical the refs and coaches are. It's like, "Ho-hum, another day at the office." A little bit of finger-wagging and scruff-grabbing, but the adults all seem to be stranded between vodka shots. They're all like "Well, how much damage can they do with all the equipment on?"

I'd love to hear what the kids are saying (in Russian, naturally).

How did this game ever continue past the second bench-clearing fracas? Cripes, my men's league games get cancelled after a single head-butt and F-bomb.
