My view on the impact of the AA/A split on youth hockey going into the 2012-2013 season. It can be read at:

Great view points. I've been saying the same thing since April.

And then plenty of others figured out it was to only benefit the few mega associations.

I'm also glad you two figured it out.

Fred: So if D6 as an AA and A team from each association, what else would you suggest doing? AA play A? Making 1/2 of the league games meaningless? Brilliant idea.

And not sure what the high school analogy proved? Other than nothing.

How many districts form B1 and B2 divisions? That is OK but you don't want bigger districts to form separate league play divisions?

Keep in mind, any A team can schedule games with AA teams.

The sky is not falling!

This pilot was for A's to play a mixed schedule against AA teams, right? Yes, meaningless. I think you're confused, D6 is going OUTSIDE the mold.

What level do you "continue to coach" in the Rochester association? Do you think your kid will find better competition at the "AA" level or has he always been a B-1 player and you think he could play at the new "A" level? So you'll be the AA, A or B-1 coach at Rochester this season? I don't see where any new benefit is for the association.

Bo you can't see anything as you are blinded by the letter. The season will be fine and little Bo can get back to AAA hockey in March.
