Nice recap but I did notice one mistake. The article says, "Two Minnesota players who play for the Boston Blades were on the ice, Brianna Decker (Bloomington) and Anne Schleper (St. Cloud)."
Miss Decker (winner of the 2012 Patty Kazmaier Award) plays for the Wisconsin Badgers and her hometown is Dousman, Wisconsin. I believe the above quote meant to reference Whitney Naslund, who is from Bloomington and does play for the Boston Blades.

As a side note, this years Minnetonka team could have 7 players, 5 D and 2 goalies, with D1 offers.

Makes you wonder if anyone will be able to score a goal against them...

Anyone know what happened to #34 McMillen from Breck !? I saw she was rostered for U22 tryouts but didn't make it onto the final roster...!?

Looks like there were 5 other D that were young enough to make it but didn't, so 6 total including McMillen. With a year of college experience, maybe next year.

I was fortunate to bring my daughter to the game yesterday (Sunday, game 3 of the series). We were treated with one of the best hockey games that I have seen in a long time. With 4 minutes left in the game, it looked like Canada was going to coast to a 4-1 victory. Inspired by the USA chants, USA team scored 3 goals in the last 4 minutes (all with an empty net). In the end, Canada did win, but in a sudden death shoot out.
