About five years ago I put up a story on this site called the "ugliest game". I just re-posted that with an update on:
http://youthhockeyhub.com/
What is most amazing to me is that it is the "almost 5 years" ago. Time flies

Sounds like the NSP coaches could have made this less ugly but chose not to.

I can't believe I read the article but I did.
2 kids left in ambulances and both at practice the next day.
Sounds like the Burnsville coaches teach the kids how to lay on the ice for attention.

Sounds more like NSP had talent on one line, but couldn't match team strength. Some teams are physical and some are fast. On this day, the fast team won.
Benito....teach them to lay down? More like teach them to get it done...the score reflected that

The kids would never be at practice the next day now! No question they would be diagnosed as concussed and out 5-100 days.

Apparently you didn't read it.
The ambulance was called after the first kid went down.
Never said he left in it.
Never even said the second kid had to be helped off.
Just that time ran out as he lay on the ice.
But I agree, if that would have happened today, both would be out until their senior year.
