Received this press release today from a group that produced a documentary about two hockey crazed families in the north metro. The trailer looks pretty cool. The premier is tonight. I have no more details than what you read in the release.
As in, when can it be viewed outside of tonight. I literally received the release late last night. I would love to see this, it would be fun to see the Brodzinski's up close.
Below is a link to the release and the trailer on our site:

Spoke with the Director on the phone today and he said that it will be released on their website in a week or so. It is 33 minutes long. I plan to write a review of it later in the month of March.
Seems to right up the alley of the posters and readers of this site (and ours).

Looks good would love to see what all the kids do to get better. Can I choose where my proceeds go as I would rather see my money go to Centennial over Blaine. I personally dispise the Brodsinksi family and everything they do in the Blaine orginization. If your not friends with the old man then your not good enough to be a part of the Blaine orginaization but looks like a good movie.

Double feature with a re-run of the ESPN 30 for 30 film "The Marinovich Project" perhaps?

Thats a bummer I have never stepped foot in that store and never will. I would not buy anything from them.

Just for my own curiosity, why all the anger towards the family?

While “sub-culture” is the operative term in the backgrounder on the Youth Hockey Hub post, I’m not sure how favorably that mirror will reflect. Clearly the head of one family is so passionate he wants to share his knowledge coaching/teaching dozens and dozens of lucky kids. The head of the other family is equally as passionate, but has a much less positive reputation. It’s unfortunate when our kids' sports get away from us.
Interesting a movie about a Centennial family and a Blaine family would be shown in Andover.

The parents got tossed? Really? I missed it. I was looking for them after their son took the 5 and 10 to see how they were doing. But couldn't find them.

The "Hawks Coach" must have been there.

The call on his kid was NOT a 5 min and 10.
I was standing next to his dad when the call was made, I might have yelled louder than he did. The ref who called it was horrible.

So if you were yelling louder than he was, why did he get tossed?
I agree the call was bullsh#t. I've never seen anything like it. Especially... what... 20 seconds in? Call roughing if you have to... or some kind of 2-minute penalty. Make something up. But not a 5 and 10.
My prediction was MG big regardless of penalties... just not THAT big.

Regardless of the call, it sounds like the old man really handled himself with class and maturity.

I would agree that it was a bad call and should not have been a 5 and 10 19 seconds into the game. Clearly was not checking from behind. But there is no reason for a parent to go to ref's locker room after a period to confront them no matter how much u disagree with the call.

What was this whole subject started with?
The self absorption of this family in a film.
I hope they got this all on film for the sequel.
