Scorekeeper puts a nice spin on the West Region this weekend. The detail he puts in is remarkable.

Nice summary.

You have to go with the top two in this case.
But, youth hockey is, even at the bantam level, I believe more unpredictable than high school hockey.

So, EGF and Moorhead should make it, but......

If they do, they both improved well over the year, and, I expect that one of them will make some noise at the state tournament.

Very nice job scorekeeper. Yes, Sartell is the dark horse "the best indicator of future performance is past results"

Bemidji tournament: Warroad beat Prior Lake. Warroad loses to Sartell in final. Last weekend VFW Warroad upset EGF and MHD. If EGF implodes like it did last weekend, Sartell will be the #2 team. I agree, the EGF kid should be disciplined for what happened last weekend. Unreal.

Not making excused, but Sartell beat Warroad in a game played less than 4 hours after Warroad had played Prior Lake into OT. With 10 skaters, there was no gas left in the tank for Warroad, so I do not think that is the best reference to past results.

Having said that, I think that if EGF can stay out of the penalty box, they will handle Sartell without much difficulty.
