Rematch of last year's section final which was won by Hermantown 5-0. Hermantown also won this season's meeting 2-1. Thoughts? Predictions?

Hermantown is going to absolutely roll them. Was at the first game between these two teams and despite the score being 2-1 Hermantown dominated the play. Final 6-1.

For you to say Hermantown dominated the whole game is embarrasing. Rogers out played Hermantown for the first two periods of that game. Missing on two breakaways and several other great scoring chances. Hermantown absolutey poured it on in the third period as Rogers went into a shell and Hermantown pulled the vicotry off. I hope it's a good game everyone loves an underdog story so I say Go Rogers!

4-2 Hawks with an empty netter. While I don't think anyone would argue that Hermantown is a much deeper and more talented team, I think Rogers group of seniors will make it one heck of a game, with the Hawks pulling out a hard fought victory.

Hermantown 5-1. They are too deep and very well coached. I think they could hang with any of the top 5 AA teams.

Rogers top 6 players have a combined point total of 219 in the regular season H-town's top 6 + 214. The biggest difference is Rogers does not have that one stand out player scoring a majority of the points like H-Town does. Now I would think that would make Rogers a more dynamic and difficult team to defend since the scoring is spread out pretty evenly. Oh and Rogers has a great coaching staff as well.
I picked a 1 goal game between Rogers and SCC and was wrong but will take it with the victory. I am going to make the same prediction for next week a 1 goal game going either way, but hopefully Rogers way. I think all of section 5A should come out and cheer for a new section champion.
Rogers stay out of the box and referees do not try to decide the game let the players do it.

Rogers had 8 players score 10 points or more compared to Hermantown who had 15 players score 10 points or more during the regular season. Gotta go with Hermantown in terms of depth.

Hermantown outshot them by a 2-1 margin. That is dominant. Hermantown had
zero breakaway chances because they had the puck in Rogers zone for the better part of the game. Rogers is a fine team. Hermantown is much better.

Rogers can't stay out of the penalty box. It should have cost them against
St Cloud.
Hermantown will not go 0-6 on the powere play.

Rogers will definetly have a harder time staying out of the box playing in H-town's backyard. Rogers actually won the special teams stat in the 1st game 100% PK and 33% PP.
There is no doubt everyone expects Hermantown to win, I am sure they even excpect it and that could be dangerous, how will they handle adversity if it hits them?

everyone is going h-town so might as well bet against the odds, rogers has had the scare and a good game to challenge them already, h-town lets be honest no challenge or scare yet, if they come out flat and feel that they have already made it to state then rogers just might have a chance, so optimistically rogers 4-2 empty netter to seal the upset of the year

Yes, shots were 2-1 but like I said....the first two periods were even if not more scoring chances going towards Rogers....shots were 13 to 15 Hermantown. Then the 3rd period happened, shots were 26-3 Hermantown. Exactly what I said in my first post, Hermantown didn't dominate the game, they dominated the third period. Hermantown is a better team, but sometime the better team doesn't always win...agree? Go Rogers!

Am I missing something? Is the third period not part of the game? The game should be looked at in its entirety. If Hermantown were to outscore Rogers 10-0 in the first, but then get outscored 2-0 the rest of the way, is this an even game? Your argument is not logical...

...ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does not make sense!
Why would a Wookiee, an 8-foot-tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of 2-foot-tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.

I don't think you are wrong to not agree with his opinion, nor would I think he were wrong to disagree with your opinion. When sports are playing in halves, thirds or quarters where there is significant break time between for athletes to rest, reflect and get coached, often things change.
While one of those periods may statistically outweigh the other two, the other two may have a completely different result. Would many say team A getting dominated one period but doing the dominating for two dominated most of the game? Yes. If that two periods of domination didn't balance out the total domination of the first, would others say team A got dominated the whole game? Yes. Is either
opinion wrong? I don't believe so.

Here is another way of looking at it, not that it matters but here we go. Lets say Hermantown dominated the first and second periods the way they did in the third period. After the 2nd it was 3-0. Rogers, in the third was running.....score 4 goals to win the game 4-3. Who dominated the game????? I would argue that Hermantown was the better team that given night but didn't win! Agree??
Your initial post was that Hermantown out played Rogers to the point that they didn't belong on the same ice sheet. Sooooo false. Can't wait for Friday to see the outcome. Win or lose Rogers belongs on the same ice as Hermantown.

no one really 'dominates' a 4-3 game
and a team that is 'better that given night' doesn't give up a 3 goal lead and lose
does anyone know if this game will be available online (video feed)
