The two regular season meetings ended in 3-2 and 4-2 so this should be a close game on a neutral site.

This should be a very close game, but I will go with my bluejackets in a 4-3 thriller.

I think you will see Johnson pick it up in this match up. Hibbing 5-2

Yep. Johnson too much for Ifalls. Hibbing 5-2.

News flash...

Debenedet is better then Johnson... He just is (yah I just said that).
(more creative ... better stick)

I-Falls is the better team (but loaded with hot heads)... can they stay out of the box... that is the question?

If they do, I-Falls by 3. If They don't Hibbing by 1.

DeBenedet is a very strong player...
IFalls D is suspect.
Johsnon vs DeBenedet would be an over simplification of this game even though these two are BIG time players with post-high school potential.

One should always be careful when calling out some one else's intelligence.

Duluth Marshall looked very beatable today. The winner of this game should feel good going into next week's final.

4-3 Hibbing after 2.

Hibbing took a time out midway through the 2nd period trailing 3-0 and scored four straight to take the lead. I Falls will start the 3rd on a 5-on-3 powerplay.

Impressive. Decenzo-great coach. How did Johnson play tonight?

What a great game. Hibbing goalie let in 3 of the first 11 shots, Hibbing roared back, then he was solid the rest of the way. 5 on 5 Hibbing was dominant, but since they took 12 penalties (3 of them for too many men!), Falls was on the pp forever.

Hibbing pk was outstanding, and they got some scoring from their 2nd line. If Hibbing takes penalties like that vs Marshall, Peterson will make them pay and it will be a rout. But if they clean it up and play 5 on 5 like they did tonight, they will be right there with the Toppers.

Hats off to I-Falls, they did what they had to do to keep it close, but their pp just wasn't effective enough. They were also graceful in losing, as I didn't see any cheap stuff after the buzzer; a credit to their coach.

Debenedet is a very good player, but Adam Johnson is on a different level.

Johnson only had one goal, but the way he scored it showed why Sandelin offered him a scholarship as a sophomore-thing of beauty. He was also huge on the pk tonight.

Agreed.
