Also, 5 playoff games tonight:

7AA
(9) St. Francis at (8) Cambridge-Isanti

8AA
(10) Northern Lakes at (7) River Lakes
(9) Becker-Big Lake at (8) Monticello

6A
(10) Wadena at (7) Willmar
(9) Morris-Benson at (8) Prairie Centre

Not exactly thrillers on paper, but the 8AA first-round game last year did give us that goalie who made over 100 saves in one game.

After 2, Eagan leads Prior Lake 6-1. Eagan is leading in shots 37-7. Hopefully Eagan won't play a third period like they did against Jefferson!

Maybe it was the bus ride, or maybe Moorhead has some ill kids, but I was not impressed. They got beat to the puck constantly, and hardly made a pass all afternoon. they made Hill look really good.

I couldn't agree more. Moorhead was pretty awful today.

After 2, Eden Prairie leads Edina 3-2. Very surprising, considering how depleted EP is right now.

And now it's 4-3 Edina early in the 3rd.

Final: Duluth East 10, Tartan 0. Paige Skoog gets the shutout, all four lines scored for the Hounds. A nice little tuneup before the 7AA tournament.

What time did this game end? I thought I saw Coach Randolph at the HM/Moorhesd game.

Road teams were 7-3 in this series before today.

Overall Moorhead won the first 3 times in 2002-2003-2004. HM is 6-2 since then.

 Maybe Moorhead played poorly and looked awful but on the flip side Hill played very well and moved the puck well with solid goaltending...is it possible Hill improved over the course of the season

Hill did look good, but that doesn't change the fact that Moorhead looked bad.
