I saw the Peewee A thread, so i thought it would only be right if I did a Bantam A one. So give me what you got!

It will be good to have some Northern teams in it this year, 2 years ago in peewee's, the farthest north team was Elk River...

East Region
My predictions:

Wayzata, OMG, Minneapolis, WBL, Stillwater, Rosemount, Woodbury, Lakeville North

Wayzata and OMG move on

South region is basically District 6 playoffs all over again as my guess is the semi's will consist of 4 D6 squads.

Burnsville, Edina move on

Not sure about that one, their team has improved but goaltending is still an issue, and the one thing you need to make a run is good goaltending.

Wow, Chuck. Always throwing those goalies under the bus. Maybe the coach ought to pull them aside and and tell them how crappy they are. You know, really motivate them.

Welcome to the forums Liphshaye (solid second post).....

Chuck actually has a great point......without solid goaltending you are not going to be going very deep into the playoffs. And I'm pretty sure he wasn't meaning "hey goalie you suck"

However I would like to add...

All Games (W-L-T): 21-27-4 GF=186 GA=196 (that's "alot" of goals allowed to be considering them a watch out team at state)

North-

Andover- Not quite the same team they were in peewee's, but still a quality team.

Elk River- Same as Andover, not the same team, but if the can pull together and play well through regions. They should make it.

South-

Burnsville- Great team good forwards and solid D. If Goaltending steps up they could be really dangerous.

Edina- Good forwards, Good D, Good goalie. Have a knack for winning the big games.

West-

Moorhead- Haven't seen them play yet, but from what i've heard, there the best team north of the T.C.

EGF- Probably deserved to be at the Peewee A tourney 2 years ago, Good mix of size and skill, should get through regions with ease.

East-

Wayzata- Should be injury free by regions, if they go out and play there game every night, they will be the easy favorite to win the State Tournament.

OMG- Great team, if they can screw their heads on straight and play how they can play, they will be very dangerous.

I personally think it will come to the two D3 teams , OMG and Wayzata. Probably the best 2 teams and the best rivalry in Bantam A's right now.

Wayzata wins it.

Thanks, Towelie. You are right, I'm sure that's not what Chuck meant to say at all. My bad.

Agree with Chuck on this one. If you can get past their D, you have a good chance of putting the puck in the net. Not saying he's bad, just not as strong as others out there and that could cause issues for them. I would put Blaine over Centennial.

I think you are dead on. Edina for some reason has Wayzata's number. Edina on the other hand has it's hands full, as will the loser of that Wayzata/OMG district game. Districts as you note, will be tougher for some of the power conference teams than regions.

... are you sure?

I'm looking at TRF with a triple OT 5-4 win over Bemidji in the 2nd place game. Roseau eliminated by losing 5-0 to TRF ...
