Mahtomedi's best team since marshall?

I honestly have to agree with this.

They have some of the best forwards of any single A team that i've seen. We'll see if they can make a run as far as the team Marshall led to the state semis.

Wasnt Marshall there just two years ago? You guys make it sound like this was 20 years ago.

"Convincingly" is a stretch, the Mahtomedi goalie made some good saves, but all 3 of Hill's goals were really weak. The first was so slow you could hardly call it a shot--must not have had his stick on the ice, the second goal was a little flip over his shoulder, and the third goal was a slow motion wrap around between his pads.

Mahtomedi's goal at the end was kind of fluky too.

It should have been a 0-0 game after three.

I think the next game later in the season will be the true test.

Jordan. He has been a varsity player since his freshman year. Saw him play at the higher end AAA level years ago and surprized he does not get more attention as a senior.

May be better but not good enough to make it out of sections.
