Toughest section?

It's eary in the season to attempt this, but what the heck.

Section 7AA - Give the edge over 6AA because of the depth of this section. East, Rapids, Elk River, Andover, Forest Lake and Cloquet make a very imposing top 6 seeds. The Edina Classic will decide if I'm correct when Rapids and Elk River face Eden Prairie.

Section 6AA - Highest quality of teams with Minnetonka, BSM, Eden Prairie, and Wayzata.

Section 2AA - Burnsville and Edina are top 10, but Jefferson and Prior Lake don't match up with the 3 and 4 teams from 7AA and 6AA.

Section 5AA - Maple Grove, Blaine and Centennial are three good teams tha can play with anyone.

Section 8AA - The top three (Moorhead, Bemidji, and Roseau) are solid teams with Brainerd the wild card.

Section 3AA - Eagan is the only quality team at this point in the season.

Section 4AA - This section is surprisingly weak. This is the least talented Hill-Murray team in recent memory, but still the team to beat.

Section 1AA - Sorry, easiest ranking to pick.

Like you said, the Edina Classic will let us know how good 7AA is after East.

This year I would say 7AA to this point of season. In class "A", I would propose that 7A could quite possibly have as much depth as anyone also. Hibbing,D- Marshall, D- Denfeld, I Falls and Virginia, can all be dangerous to most "A" teams, IMO.

I'd have to agree that 6AA is THE best section. After that I'd say 7AA, 5AA & 2AA are all pretty much even.

Section 5AA clearly better then 2AA. even Osseo could tangle with most in 2AA minus Burnsville.

Toughest section or deepest section? If you look at things from the eyes of the majority of the section, you could say that the 'toughest' section could be 2A or 5A only because all the other teams have to go through Breck and Hermantown, respectively. These two teams have held a grip on the rest of their sections for the past couple years it seems. However when you are talking depth, these sections would rank at the bottom. Don't rip on me if you don't agree I'm just looking at things from a different perspective.

if osseo can tangle with most in 2AA minus burnsville, then prior lake can tangle with most in 5AA minus Maple Grove

Depending on the year 7AA and 2AA could be up there but 6AA is clearly the best section as of now.
