So when does the 14uA season actually start

So does the season start when the 14's teams are picked or after the H.S's start and pulling ladies up? Seems like teams are looking a lot different now then 2 weeks ago.

MN Hockey or each Association needs to adopt a policy that states 14U tryouts start upon completion of High School Tryouts. All 14U eligible can do Captains Practice or a third party Pre-Skate for the month of October. It is the only way it will work....period!
Many of the top associations have adopted this policy and we should all follow!

A commonsense policy like this would certainly make life easier for board members who find themselves scrambling every year to put rosters together.

Teams who have numbers have the luxury of fully-rostered HS teams and 14 teams, but I do feel the pain of those associations w/o numbers where every year is a new adventure. Bighead and Gump, agree with you, but this idea is perhaps too common-sense to ever be adopted.
