Help Needed with Game film

Hello,
Sorry if this is the wrong place or wrong protocol for the forums, but I could not figure out who to ask and this place seems like a great resource for questions.
My head coach has tasked me with revamping our filming of games and practices. I wanted to start by looking at what programs coaches use for scouting and filming, before investing in anything else.
I have scoured the internet and it seems like there are only a few, but I am having problems determining the good from the bad.
If you could help guide me in a general direction it would be greatly appreciated.
If not, sorry for the bother.
