Another thing, Elk River and Cloquet will both be improved this season. Elk River's sophmore class might be the best in the state, and Cloquet's bantam A's were also at state two years ago.

Right now I would rank the top 5 this way

2. Grand Rapids should be ranked between 3 and 6 to start the season
3. Elk River between 16-20 in the state
4. Cloquet between 18-22 in the state

3 of the top 5 scorers and the two best playmakers.. They might find some kids to fill these roles towards the end of the season. 12-20 maybe?

This season reminds me so much of the year Spehar and Locker were seniors and Aaron Miskovich was a junior. I'm just glad Greenway isn't still in 7AA with a goalie to stop 55 of 56 shots and get an epic upset win in the semi-finals. GAH!!!

Yes, they had good players as seniors last year. However, last year was not the year Rapids fans were expecting that kind of season. This upcoming year is the one GR fans have been waiting 4-5 years for. What does Cloquet bring back?

Again, Cloquet's Bantam A's were at state 2 years ago, oh and last time I checked Dave Esse is still their head coach. Cloquet has never relied on a lot of scoring from a lot of players. They play great defense and have just enough scoring in their better years to beat you 2-1 or 3-2.
