NCAA Tournament Contest 2011

I know this will get moved to the College Hockey forum eventually, but that's fine. Hopefully this will help get a better turnout this season. Bragging right are on the line!

1st Round - 1 point
2nd Round - 2 points
3rd Round - 4 points
4th Round - 8 points

Be sure to fill in the tie-breaker at the bottom. It will be the shots on goal for North Dakota against Rensselaer in their first round game. Not total SOG, simply the shots North Dakota gets.

They don't always (in fact, almost never) seed it strictly that way. This year they moved #3 BC vs #14 CC to the West Regional and moved #4 Miami vs #13 New Hampshire to the Northeast Regional. So you end up with 1v8, 2v7, 3v5 and 4v6. They attempt to preserve what they call "bracket intregrity" to a certain extent, but certain issues (for example, a team in the tournament hosting a regional will always play in that regional) come into play. This is why you have #13 New Hampshire playing in Manchester, which caused the need to make the move shown above.

This is the NCAA's. Teams are moved around, in this case BC, based on the criteria in place. His seedings are correct
