Eagan 4 Eden Prairie 3 2OT
I believe it comes down to Eagan defensemen vs the Eden Prairie forwards. Very difficult to break that Eagan defense. Eagan shut down Rau back in December. Should be a great game.

Going from bad to worse now for Eagan. 4 on 3 for the Eagles gonna be 5 on 3, already up 2-0. 1st period over.

Jeez. Eden Prairie is one tough team. We knew they were good but this is getting ugly.

Well... if there's one good, positive we can find for Eagan is that it's past 10 p.m....... The liquor stores are closed and we don't have to worry about HappyHockeyFan getting out of control...
Need I remind you of what happened to HHF after a crucial loss last year to Apple Valley..

Disappointing game so far, Eagan never really got into it. EP looks flashy but some of that has to do with Eagan sloppiness. I'll be checking out soon...

Very...I've watched an awful lot of exhilerating hockey these past two days. I'm not as young as I used to be.
But I think I'll be able to muster up enough energy for one more game tomorrow...

Dissapointed in Eagan's effort tonight, EP was impressive and their play contributed alot to Eagan's sloppness. However I never felt like Eagan was into it right from the get go, seemed intimidated, possibly by the weight of the game..State Semifinal and all, I dont know. I hope they can rebound to give a better effort against Edina. GO EAST !! GO CATS !!

I think they'll be back and ready next year. As far as this year goes, 3rd place game isn't at all shameful in this crowd.

We should also recognize Ford stepping up and playing a great game again, he seems to have this state thing down. Best save % of tournament goalies so far. Also nice job Ben Boldenow; the senior had his first goal of the year yesterday, not a bad time to get it.

I felt EP would win, but I was looking forward to a good game. Disappointing performance by Eagan. I could not watch the game anymore after the 2nd period. Did they not beat EP earlier in the season? Where was the confidence, swagger and effort? Where was the team that played so well the night before?

Who was sticking to 2 lines? EP rolled 3 when at full strength.
